‘35S: 149E: Canberra Lived’
Lime Flamingo Collective Group Exhibition
31 March - 14 May 2023
In the exhibition ‘35S: 149E: Canberra Lived’ Lime Flamingo Collective artists reflect on their experience of living in Canberra, generating work about their personal experiences of inhabiting space. Their work aims to provide unique authentic perspectives of what it's like to live, love, work and make art in this beautiful city we call home.
Against this theme I depict stylised tourist-like brochure images of the adventure of two women; Bunty and Avis, who are transported from the 1940s into a retro-futuristic Canberra.
